The location of Iconic Geelong photos, the Geelong waterfront is home to its popular Promenade which is a fenced ocean swimming area with a surrounding boardwalk, waterfront saltwater pool and the Bollards – an art trail of sculptures made of wood. Popular things to do include:

  • Swimming in the sea bath (pool) or in the sea inside the promenade
  • Eastern Beach Playground

  • Walk the dog along the foreshore

The Bellarine Peninsula

The nearby Bellarine Peninsula is the perfect place to spend a day exploring wineries or find a nice calm beach for a long walk. This is a much loved tourism region with people who have visited annually there entire lives and a popular place for retirees but also more recently lots of young families into the new estates.
